360 Camera to Mobile Sync:

  1. What happens when the data sync from 360-camera to mobile is interrupted?
    Sync happens capture wise. When there are 10 captures we are trying to sync, at 5th capture if we get interruption. 5 - 10 captures will be stopped. 1 - 4 would have been synced.

  2. When does it get interrupted - when you get a call?
    It gets interrupted when the camera is disconnected (turned off, out of range). It also gets interrupted when you pick up an incoming call.

  3. How does it show when the data sync is interrupted? What is the message you would get on the app? What does the icon display look like?
    When there is interruption we get (Network Error/ Unknown error) during interruption. Upload icon will be in enabled state as there are data pending to sync.

  4. How do you reinitiate data sync after the interruption?
    Once the cause of interruption is sorted out. We can press the upload button again. Sync starts from where it was interrupted.

  5. What actually happens when you reinitiate after the interruption?
    There is no change in app behavior. It resumes as a new sync initiated.

Mobile to Cloud Upload:

  1. My app crashes while uploading, what should I do?
    There are times when the app is unable to upload and crashes when a user tries to upload more than 20 files at one time. Try selecting a maximum of 20 files and try uploading again.

  2. I have not received any confirmation that my uploads have been completed successfully? What should I do?
    For the app released on Oct 16 2023 (Version 1.0.6) , the user has to go back to the ConstructN upload screen to complete the upload process if the upload session is very long. Please keep going back to the app and check the screen if all the uploads are complete. Once you see the successfully uploaded screen, your upload process is complete and you will receive a confirmation email and app notification.

  3. What happens when the data upload from the mobile is interrupted?
    When there is an interruption to cloud sync, it's the same behavior as 360 Camera Sync. When there are 10 captures we are trying to sync, at 5th capture if we get interruption. 5 - 10 captures will be stopped. 1 - 4 would have been synced.

  4. When does it get interrupted - when you get a call or when there is an issue with Wi-Fi? Does it move to mobile data usage when Wi-Fi has an issue automatically?
    It gets interrupted whenever the network is disconnected. Network error is displayed, during call, Wi-Fi disconnection. It does not switch between data and Wi-Fi. On the network switch, network error is displayed. We can restart sync on Wi-Fi/data once the network is acquired.

  5. How does it show when the data upload is interrupted? What is the message you would get on the app for the interruption? What does the icon display look like?
