Before you begin connecting your device, please ensure that you are using one of the devices listed below:

If you have a new Insta camera, please follow the steps under Activating New Insta Camera. If it is a used/activated Insta camera, follow the steps under Existing / Activated Camera.
I. Activating New Insta Camera
To establish a connection between your Insta360 camera and your mobile device for capturing using the ConstructN mobile app, it is necessary to activate the camera through the Insta360 app.
Before activation, please ensure:
Your camera has an adequate charge. Insta360 requires a minimum of 10% battery power to activate the camera.
Your phone is connected to the Internet.
Follow the steps below to activate your camera:
Turn on your camera and launch the Insta360 app on your mobile device. From the center of the toolbar at the bottom of the screen, tap on the connect icon.
The app will navigate you to the "New device detected" page, where your Insta360 camera name will be listed. Choose your camera from the list.
Once you've selected the Wi-Fi network, confirm the connection to the camera by tapping on the camera screen.
If a new firmware version is available, you will be prompted to update to the latest firmware. Please follow the on-screen prompts to update your camera's firmware.
On your mobile device, you will be prompted to connect to your camera's Wi-Fi network. Select "Join" to establish the connection.
On the "Activate camera" page, tap on "Activation."
Your camera will then be successfully activated, and the Insta360 app will display a notification confirming the activation.
NOTE:
After activating your Insta360 camera, it is important to prevent any connection conflicts between apps. To do so, make sure to fully close out of the Insta360 app or completely delete it before connecting your camera to the ConstructN mobile app. Follow the instructions in Existing / Activated Camera below to connect the camera to the ConstructN mobile app.
II. Existing / Activated Camera
Connect the phone to camera Wi-Fi using the steps below:
Step 1: Turn on your Insta360 camera. Press and hold the power button to switch on the camera
Step 2: Turn on Wi-Fi on your phone. Go to settings and ensure Wi-Fi is enabled.
Step 3: The default password for Insta models One RS, One X, One X2 and One X3 is ‘88888888’. Connect the camera to your phone. In your phone's Wi-Fi settings, select the displayed Insta360 camera Wi-Fi name and enter the provided password.
Tip: You should be able to find the wi-fi connection as ‘ONE RS ******.OSC’, ‘ONE X ******.OSC’, ‘ONE X2 ******.OSC’ or ‘X3 ******.OSC’ respectively by default, where ****** is the last six digits of the serial number.
