This article explains how to download the current screen image you're viewing in ConstructN and generate PDF reports to share with project stakeholders, even those who don't have access to the platform.
Download Options:
ConstructN offers a dropdown menu in "Reality mode" containing three options for capturing and sharing your current view:
Download Current Screen: This downloads the 360° image you're currently viewing as a JPG file to your computer. You can then share this JPG image with anyone.
Download PDF Report: Selecting this option opens a pop-up window where you can:
Add comments to the report.
Change the report name for better organization.
Email PDF Report: Similar to "Download PDF Report", this option opens a pop-up for adding comments and renaming the report. However, upon confirmation, the report is emailed to your current logged-in user's email address.
Contents of the PDF Report:
The downloaded or emailed PDF report includes the following elements:
Current Screen: A high-resolution version of the image of current screen
Minimap (Original): If available, a copy of the project's Minimap is included in its original size.
Zoomed-in Minimap: A zoomed-in section of the Minimap highlighting your current position.
Notes Section: This section displays any comments you added while generating the PDF report.

Downloading the current screen image or PDF report allows you to:
Share project updates with colleagues and superiors who don't have ConstructN access.
Include the downloaded JPG or PDF report as attachments in emails for wider project communication.
Maintain a record of your project's progress with dated reports containing comments and specific image views.
Note: The download functionality is only available in "Reality mode." Ensure you've switched to "Reality mode" before using the dropdown menu and selecting your desired download option.
