Stage Markers : Your Quick Indicator to help Identify Stage of the Captures/Levels

Utilizing ‘Stage Markers’: These visual markers provide a quick, at-a-glance overview of each level / structure’s progress. Each Marker represents a distinct stage, making it easy to track every step of the Scan/Capture.

The various ‘Stage Markers’ available right now are:

  1. No Design: This marker is shown when there are NO DESIGNS for a particular level. This is shown in an abbreviated form in the ‘Hierarchy’ view as ‘ND’ with a tool tip. We have two different states for this Stage Marker.

    1. Greyed Level (non-clickable): These are levels where there is NO DESIGN and NO REALITY too. You can ignore these levels while trying to navigate in ‘Views’ or ‘Hierarchy’.

    2. Non-greyed out Level (clickable): These are levels where there is NO DESIGN but we DO HAVE REALITY. Clicking these levels will open the reality view of that particular level. So as long as you see the ‘No Design’ Stage marker but the level is not grayed out - you can go ahead and click it but be wary that you cannot perform a ‘Compare Design’ operation for such levels.

  2. No Reality: Any level that HAS A DESIGN but NO REALITY data will show with this Stage Marker. This is shown in an abbreviated form in the ‘Hierarchy’ view as ‘NR’ with a tool tip. There is only one state for this particular Chip and we always gray out these levels.

These levels are clickable and you get an option to view the design or stay back on existing page. This behavior exists in both ‘View’ and ‘Hierarchy’.

  3. Processing: This Stage Marker is shown when a capture has been uploaded to platform and ConstructN is processing the same. This is shown in an abbreviated form in the ‘Hierarchy’ view as ‘P’ with a tool tip. We have two different states for this Stage Marker.

    1. Greyed Level: If this was the first capture and it is in processing stage, we gray out the line and a pop-up is shown with the option to view ‘Design’ or stay on the same page.

    2. Non-greyed level: These are levels with existing captures and a user should be able to click and view the latest processed and available reality.

Note: It is very much possible that the higher level in the hierarchy (like a tower) might not have a design / reality but the levels within that tower (like individual levels) can have. So always click the (+) sign in both ‘Views’ / ‘Hierarchy’ to expand and check the ‘Stage Markers’ in the nested levels.
